I know not many of you are fans of these Lates perch because they don't have the rainbow colors that most people are attracted to LOL. They are not the most colorful of fish, but most certainly the coolest.

I don't think there are many fish out there that can be compared to these and I absolutely love them. If you know me, then you'd know that I've kept a lot of fish... these nile perch are exceptional (forget about peacockbass).

Anyways, here they are:

I agree. I love my Nile too. What do you mean they are not that colorful? When mine gets excited he can go from dull grey to brilliant marble gold and black in seconds. It is absolutely gorgeous! They also have great personalities. I am having a hard time getting mine off of live food though. Congrats! Awesome fish- one of my favorites.

Yup, love the marbled pattern. Since I have white sand, much of that is washed away. I'm in the process of replacing that with black sand.
