I work in a pet store and I'm having some issues with our fish stock at the moment, mainly various diseases and stress.
So far I've identified pop-eye, dropsy and either a fungus or bacterial infection which affects 2 or 3 fish in the tank at a time.
I'm using myxazin, tonic salt and we have a UV filter in place but no-one seems to be improving at all.
I'll be suggesting we reduce the stocking levels to ease stress but has anyone got any tips that might help in the meantime? Maybe techniques you've tried when dealing with lots of sick fish or types of food that could boost the fish to fight the disease?
I know this is a little vague but with 63+ tanks it's hard to be specific, but the water in every tank is tested weekly with very good results, ph is 7.6 and the fish we have are coldwater (fantails and goldfish) and tropical (livebearers, angel fish, gouramis, tetras, etc)
Let me know if you need any other info to help, thank you!!
