We all know that in november our laws might change but i was talking to a guy at a lfs and he says cichlids will be safe he when to some asian illeagle trader and he had all kinds of alreday illeagle fish.eg snakehead.

has anyone been to a place like that down under?

Snakeheads are quite easy to find. As has been discussed in the infinity other threads regarding the possibility of new fishkeeping laws in Australia, even the current grey and noxious fish lists are hardly or never policed.

i dont like illagel fish either i didnt think illegal pet trade happend in Austraila (sounds nieve) but i really didnt case of are strick quartine and customs. I wanted to know if they really excist, cause people that go there are the whole reason for the toughther laws and make us look bad.

Honestly it's probably better to not know about illegal fish trade, then you can rightfully say you have nothing to do with it. I highly doubt if anyone here knows anything they will say anything on a public forum, you might as turn your self in. I really don't understand why anyone would want to keep illegal fish, I'd rather keep my anal virginity than get caught with an illegal fish.
