Illegal Arowanas?

So I know this has probably been posted hundreds of times... but I've had a lot of trouble being able to clarify the exact specifications of the Florida laws and restrictions. I know that the asian aros are illegal across the US, but are Jardinis and African aros also illegal in florida?

Don't know where you obtained this bit of incorrect info. Payara are illegal in Hawaii and Texas. Mississippi requires a permit to possess any payara and, to date, no hobbyist permits have been approved.
