Illegal fish: is this a bad idea?

I am sure I know the answer... But this fish has been a dream for quite some time. It is not pretty, (in-fact very ugly) but aggressive! I am sure you all know somewhat the fish I am referencing.

The problem is, It is ILLEGAL here! :cry:

But I found a guy that is basically giving it away.

If you had the chance to own a fish you have wanted forever, but you knew if you got caught you would loose the fish, get a fine, and possible jail time...

Is it worth it??

Has anyone had experience in this? (getting caught?)
 
MFK does not suggest/support illegal fish ;)

that being said, its only illegal when u get caught. but if u get caught with that, things wont end well......
 
No, not a snake head, just a measly piranha. lol.

I know I knew the answer... I just needed the extra kick in the butt... lol.. I wish We could apply for permits here...

I dont think it is fair that because of a few irresponsible people, I am not allowed to care for my choice of animals. I am responsible and can provide the home necessary to keep the fish all its life... The same thing is happening with Burmese pythons here in Wa (I think the whole USA in fact)

Any how... that is just my rant... I want him soooo bad!!! But, I think I will have to let him go. :cry:
