Ok, i have a probelm with my Choclate chiclids.

the bigger one has some white outting on the top of its body near the dorsal fin. othere then that its fines. my biggest concern is its mate, the smaller one. hasnt' really been eatting anything by flakes and the cricket i bought a week ago (which were gone that day). just got home and i noticed that the black coloring they get is splotchy and its not really eatting anything...medicated food, flakes or the hikori massivor pellets. and its got some black slpotching on an eye, not sure if its scaring or a new fungi. tanks has been treated, waters been changed and then retreated after consoling the local aquadics store, best one in the area.
also a fungi on one of its areal fins and its got a tail or trailor.

they were helpful but i want to know if anyone on here knows of anything to do about this problems. and if there are better tank setups for these fish. any and all info is wanted and helpful. thanks

tank setup now are the first two. tanks temp is at 78*

is it cottony? the stuff near the dorsal shaped almost like a saddle? if so could be columnaris theres some remedys for this in the disease section. just a guess so dont panic but if it is columnaris youll have to act soon or it will get worse

Has the swimming pattern changed?

the big one was chasing the smaller one...its mate and the smaller one was twitching. they havent been swimming much cause of the temp change i think.
