So i live in Windsor Ontario Canada and I finally found my love, a baby silver Arowana I got for 25 bucks and a trade on a picked on JD. I have read a crap load on the fish and found out a lot such as Canada is allowed to have asian arowanas. so i go to a different LFS and ask for hikari gold or some other type of food for my aro and the lady tells me im housing an illegal fish and all arowanas are illegal now. Any truth in this? im thinken she might have been pissed because i told her that 1$ per pin head guppie was crazy and i get 12 for 2 bucks at the asian guys store.

dude this is total not true.. i just bought a silver arowana last week... from a chinese place in ontario.. in mississauga and they have so many.. they love them because they believe the arowana is lucky. got mine for 25 bucks too.. its about 4". you can get the hikari arowana food from a big als. they have arows there too. they are legal dont worry.
sweet lol i've been waiting a year for this fish to finally show up at the LFS. so legal or not im still keeping it lol. yeah the asian guy told me a guy bought one from him and won 10 grand on a scratch ticket that same day came back and bought 3 6 foot tanks and a few more arows lol.
