My 3 NTTs have never eaten anything other than ghost shrimp. I've tried little worms, starved them until one got really ill, blood worms, MS on a bit of fishing line, (my wife thought i'd lost the plot by the way.),you name it i tried to get them to eat other foods.
Last night i was feeding my RTG cut up market shrimp and the biggest NTT shot out and stole a piece of shrimp!
I really don't understand why now because i tried MS in the past. Anyway it ate 2 pieces. The other 2 NTTs didn't eat anything but i figure if one is eating it then the other 2 will follow suit soon. I know this is one step away from pellets for my NTTs.
It sounds lame when i read this myself, but anyone who has stubborn Dats will know how happy i am!!

I know the feeling, out of my 15 NTT's one of them is still holding out and only eats a small piece of tillapia once in a while and now he is starting to get dangerously thin. The others have been eating the tillapia for close to 2 months now, maybe one day I'll try to get them on pellets but at this point in time, I'm just happy they don't require live food anymore. Congrats, hopefully the others will follow suit.
