Well I think the title says it all... I have had a FWA for 20+ years And just started My first SWA. I really like this site. It seems to have tons of knowledge.

A bit about my setup:

I have a 16 gallon tall with a 10 gal sump. The sump holds everything (skimmer, heater, filters pumps, ect)
The tank has 23 lbs of fiji LR lots of soft corals of varying typs and three fish and one bubble tip.

Sounds like a lot but the tank cycles in less than a day. Everything is at 0. All seems to be going well.

I just thought about this but my ph has stayed constant at 7.8 over the entire time i have had my tank up. Around 2 months... It never improves even with water changes. Its always 7.8.

Im using instant ocean and my sg is 1.023, ph 7.8, ammon 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 0
Temp is 80. I have the lights on a 7 hour timer. any ideas?

welcome to mfk.. you won't be a newb for long here... but in the meantime just have fun... enjoy mfk
