Hello I'm a newbie here. I haven't had an aquarium for about five year. I live in a condo so there just isn't enough room for a aquarium of a reasonable size. We only have a local owned and Petco pet store here. Not a good selection in my book. I use to buy fish in Seattle and the fish fared well. I guess one of the fastest growing fish I every raised were 2 Pacu I bought here in town from the local pet store. They were both about an inch long. I have never seen fish grow so fast. I had them in a 100 gallon aquarium but they got to big. I gave them away when the were about 12 to 15 inches long. The person I gave them to put them in a large wading pool in his house and they did fine. That's when I lived in a two story 4 bedroon house. Great to be here.
