That S**t sucks man. I've lost a loved one b/c alzheimer's. It's hard to watch someone go back to being basically a little kid when they used to be a grown up.

dimentia was what i lost my grandad to. similar in many ways to alzheimers. its destroying to watch the person you knew, loved and respected die a little everyday.
he said he had a wild rabbit at the back of the garden that used to let him stroke it. no one ever seen the rabbit but it made him happy. my gran caught him throwing stones and gave him a telling off, he stood and hid the stones behind his back like a kid does and stood with a cheeky grin on his face. it was the dimentia but i will admit it was better to see that side of it.
