From the link:

On Sunday, Wallenda will try a high-wire stroll of 375 feet from the Sky Cabin at Knott’s Berry Farm to the Boomerang roller coaster. He’ll be 80 feet up, with no safety net to catch him, no safety line to hold him up.

Are we obsessed with death?

Nope ... not me. I'm sitting here with baited breath. I just don't understand WHY on earth people would put themselves in this position... to possibly die to do this crap.

so did he make it?

Faith is not a good thing

Belief without evidence is ignorance

However I believe he will be fine as if he was not a professional who was more than capable and more then prepared for the event...camp snoopy would NEVER allow him to do it.

He made it..... thank goodness! He did some "show-boating" during the walk... stood on one leg and picked the other leg up, arms raised.... laid down on the tight rope (on his back).... incredible! The last 40 feet or so he stumbled slightly then had to kneel down..... it was close (in my lame opinion). I don't need to see an event like that again..... :screwy:
