Just a quick note to any of those that might remember me. I haven't been on in a while. I have since had to sell my tanks because we've moved from Atlanta to the North Bay Area of San Francisco. (I believe that is what it's referred to). Anyways, I figured the moving company wouldn't treat my tanks with as much care as I would so I sold them before the move. We're supposed to close on the new house in San Anselmo the end of this month. After we get everything settled I plan on getting back into my fish addiction. I had found a place here in California at one time that had EXCELLENT prices on large new tanks if you could pick them up, but can't remember where I bookmarked it. I'll probably start off with a 125-150g and possibly go up from there. I've got to finish one of the rooms downstairs and will be putting together a real fish room finally.
If anyone has any suggestions of good fish stores around the San Fran Area, I'd love some local input! Thanks!
 
I live in San Francisco and actually worked in a store here...............Go to 6th Avenue Aquarium..............The 125 plexi is 6 foot and runs starts at $314(something), just tank............I have one.................There are also glass tanks in the front.........Yeah litteraly in the front of the store, on the sidewalk..........These are only display tanks, but can be purchased inside, brand new(not scratched).................A 100g goes for just under $200...........The prices on glass jumps and goes down here quick, one week the glass 100 will be $168, and the other week the tank jumps to $210..............If not buying from the internet, this is the place to buy your filters and supplies...........The food is presented well on one big wall...........They also have an assorrtment of frozen foods..........It being a small China town district, but just far away from the main Chinatown traffic, this place is located 3 blocks down from a popular Asain supermarket that sells frozen shrimp for a good price..............
