Just came back from an AMAZING vacation in Maui. It's my first time going to Hawaii. Maui is gorgeous. It really sucks to be back at work Here's a small sample of pics. I still have several hundred RAW files to work through.

Woke up at 1:30am to watch the sunrise at Haleakala. Here I am fumbling around with the camera settings in the dark at freezing temperatures!!

One of my favorites from the trip! Took this of the other couple we went with. Kaanapali Beach

Sitting on top of the 200ft Makahiku Falls. Difficult to get to, but well worth the hike. Sitting on top and swimming in a pool that leads to a 200ft waterfall is an amazing experience!

I slept in the bushes off the road on Haleakala at about 9,000 feet a few years back. Got a little chilly. Great view though.

My fiance and I may be going to Hawaii for our honeymoon, although it will probably be a year after the wedding...

Thanks guys! It was a great trip. Didn't get to sleep in one day but it was well worth it, saw some amazing scenery. Did the cheesy touristy luau on the first night just for the heck of it, wasn't my cup of tea. Neither is laying by the pool. We like being out n about exploring what the island really has to offer! Snorkeling was awesome too. Came within inches of lots of giant sea turtles
