seeing as i was going to have a fire eel as a center piece fish and did he was awesome he was ALWAYS at the top, hand feeding aswell within a couple of days i then introduced a shoal of silver dollars with which came ich and it wiped out my fire eel, ropefish and 4 clown loaches i still have my severum, silver dollars and a rope fish i am now looking for a nice characteristic colourful and peaceful (well aslong as it doesnt harass other fish dont care if it kills other cichlids) and if any one has an idea then lets hear it i have a 65 gal fluval bow front so what is the best cichlid for me?

In a 65 with severum and ropefish? You're open to quite a few things. What do you like? I'd stay away from real big CA glassbangers but anything that doesn't get over 1' or kill everything should be OK.

well i was looking at geophagus but i really dont know if my tank would suit them as its mediumly-planted and i would have to convert to sand i love my dads oscar but theyre to messy in my opinion. ive kept a jaguar and a green terror a while ago and i woudnt mind something similar to the gt just less aggresive

For something similar to Gt with less aggression, you should go with a blue acara.

im not into acaras sorry ARRGGHH i still havent decided yet
