July 21, 2014 was the last time I was in here and that was looking for a big tank. It must have been 2010 that I was active, had fish, and had the passion.
Fast forward 10 years. I've moved 40 miles further East, a wife, step-daughter graduating, and a 7 year old girl.
I've managed to hold on to a 100g acrylic tank this whole time and since this pandemic, I've pulled out some old hobbies and developed some new ones.
So, I have an empty tank cycling at the moment. I have no idea what direction I'm going with it. The kid wants to throw her solo male Betta in it.
This was an amazing forum back in the day. I made some really awesome friendships and I'm hoping to dive back in.

Welcome back to the hobby
A betta for my kids is what brought me back to the hobby also ? now a year later I got 600 gallons Worth of tanks in my garage
If you can consider goin bigger soon you could use the 100 now to grow out some nice peacock bass
Or a nice arowana (albino,black , or try a jardini)
Bichirs are always cool to watch it you could raise a nice Flowerhorn and get it a mate
Lots of opinion im

I had close to 3,000 gallons between show tanks inside and grow tanks in my garage. Looking at this 100g right now, I'm overwhelmed with ideas. I'm just glad this 13 year old acrylic looks good and holds.

Ahh, welcome back comrade, I joined a mere 2 years ago but it’s always good to see someone come back to this wunderbar hobby.

Nice to see one of the OGs back in the game again. 100 slowly turns into 200, and then 300... lol
