they wouldnt give me a waiver to ship due to a sunburn and my shoulders blistering... it happened friday while fishing... i told them it was getting better but they said i now have to wait till next week and they'll see how it looks...

ive got medicated stuff to put on it... but this sucks!

if it was a regular burn it would have been fine. but it blistered on my shoulders and pussed up... so they dont want me in recieving oozing puss and stuff... i think...

but ya, i got the Aloe burn treatment stuff.

You will appreciate it that they are giving you a free week when you are finally in uniform. Your first days in basic are not going to be easy or clean; Open sores are a major issue when you are going to live in dirt and mud.

You are going to itch like hell during your first week too. You will have a new appreciation for the word 'discipline' by the time it is over. No matter how bad it itches, you can never scratch an itch in basic.
