Sorry for a long absence on here, but I got back in fish keeping hobby....uunintentionally. long story but I rescued four redbelly piranhas from being dumped in a tiny pond by a family that got bored of them. I got a 55gal laying around and I gave the piranhas a home. Few weeks later, a guy in my area that need rehoming his two piranhas since he cannot take them with to his new home. So....yeah I have six piranhas under my care. They loved frozen fish and raw shrimp with occasionally cooked shrimp or fresh fillet from fish I caught from fishing trips. The piranhas and two ropefish got along very well (again these two ropefish we're also rescued). I'm planning on getting bigger aquarium soon.
Are your Rope fish in a separate aquarium now?
