Not many of you may have known it, but for the past 3 + months I have been battling cancer. I'm not the type of guy that likes attention and all that jank, so I only told a few people about it. Its been a rough, tedious journey for me. When you have something like this happen to you though, its almost surreal, like its not actually happening to you.
From the start though, I decided that I was gonna be strong for those around me, and be strong for myself. I would joke around, and blow it off like it was no big deal, just to make all my loved ones around me feel better and make it easier to cope. There were times when it really did get me down though, and it was a struggle to get back up again. It seemed like we never heard any good news, all we got was bad reports, and more bad reports. Definately not an experience I would want to take again if given the choice. Those of you who have known what I've been going through, I can't say how much I appreciate and truely cherish the support and encouragement that you've shared with me. Without it, I'm not sure I could have made it though this with such a positive attitude.
The Doctor told me today that all my cancer markers were below normal, and that I am CANCER FREE!!!!! I am sooo happpy!!!!!

I only have two more days of treatment, and then I will be done! I can finally get back on with my life, and be me all over again. I can actually grow my hair back now!! SCORE!!
Anywho, I just wanted to say a special thanks to all of you here at MFK, you guys have helped me through this more than you may ever know!! Its great being a part of the family!
