I'm convinced my fire eel is a badass.

I have a small 6" fire eel. last night, I was feeding him a worm. Had the worm in my hand, and he was swimming up to grab it. Suddenly, one of my big blood parrots bulldozes my hand and sucks the worm right up like a noodle. The fire eel decided "That's my worm, *****", darted at the blood parrot, shoved his head into the blood parrots mouth, grabbed the worm, and ripped it right out of his throat and ate it. the blood parrot was just floating there as if it was going, "What the hell just happened."

I'd imagine the worm was thinking it was having a horrible day, being eaten twice.

I have a 12" fire eel and when I'm feeding him his worms every once in awhile one of my cichlids grabs it first cause my eel has the attention span of a 5 year old. Its usually my 3.5" cuban, well the cuban sucks it in and spits it out and sucks it back in cause he can't eat it all at once, so my eel waits patiently and when the cuban spits it out he snaches it and darts into his cave. Its like a game they play. Very amusing
