Im currently looking for a bulk nitrofurazone

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
why bulk is my first question. Meds can expire. are you treating a huge system?

well bulk is cheaper right? treating a couple of 125's and a 29. Packages come 10 packs per box, takes 12 packs to treat one day per One 125 g tank. need to repeat 4x minimum. SO i need roughly 100 packets just to treat the 2- 125s minimally. Or ten boxes at $8 per box....

Seems ive identified the problem columnaris that was aquired by rehoming a pair of JD's that got too big for someones tank, since then Ive lost a JD, 4 cory cats, a pangasisus, a Haplachromis SP44. and a Bumblebee cichild.
I thought i had it knocked out in the big tanks and had moved the Cory cats to a small hospital tank to treat them minimally with triple sulfa and fungus cure thinking it was actual fungus. Upon reintroduction to the larger tanks they within a week had the saddleback areas, removed again and all died except one that is still being treated separately in the 29g. It and another larger fish responded well to Furan-2 and Funguscure.

So im gonna try and pull everything from the big tanks and sterilize and then nuke them with Furan for 4-5 doses, then restart with new bacteria and filter media.

This was what was recommended to me nearly a year ago for my flower after she arrived and had issues. Couple treatments and things turned around quick. Good stuff. I keep some on the shelf now with the other meds.
