Hey guys. Unfortunately I'm having to get out the game. I've been thinking about this for a while now. Over the year I've been really getting into boas and pythons. At the moment if I keep my cichla I can't do any more with this hobby. On top of that I'll be renting my own place next year and getting married. My fiancé keeps cichlids and I couldn't ask her to sell her fish so I could keep mine and the snakes. She's really attached to them and I think she'd be in tears if they went.

I sold my pinima, kelberi and a mono the other day and that hurt. I still have the two biggest mono's so if any uk mfkers are interested get in touch.

I will be back eventually as my love of cichla is still strong. Next time round I'll do it right and get that monster acrylic tank first. But for now I'll just have to visit the forum to look at all of your beautiful cichla.

Sad to hear Tim. But glad to hear you'll still be around. Hope the future venture of moving and marriage and snakes goes well. Keep us posted.

To bad your girl isnt into cichla....they are the best and coolest cichlids :)

This is sad to hear and good news as well. Sad to see you go but happy to hear about Your future endeavours. Good luck Tim and we will be here when you get back.

i saw the ad on AC - sorry to hear man - i would have snapped up the pinima and kelberi but its complete wrong timing! if it was a month from now!

anyways good luck with everything!

Good luck Tim. Always loved your mono videos. Now two months from now when you start looking at juvie prices you'll be begging your wife for more haha. I did the same thing and hated not having the big boys around.

Good luck to ya Tim you'll be back some day make sure they go to good homes man!!! And can't wait to see your next set up your bette rhalf will let ya get the Monster tank i am sure of it ....

When the reptile thing becomes more like work you'll be back into the fish unless your making alot of money breeding them. Been there done that and here i am back to fish.

^^ that's why he says he's doing a dieselmack...haven't seen scott back in the fish game since he left although he went reptile crazy :)

Sorry to hear you leave tim. Hope to see you back some day!

Your being a tit thats what your doing tim!!!

No. . . on a serious note i completely understand you can see you are fond of the snakes.

Things are now changing for me and it is becoming viable for me to keep cichla again and should be getting my collection back "home" soon, very unfortunate that i have missed the boat with the other 3. I may be in touch shortly though mate. . .

Yeah I've still got to come and check out everyones cichla. My girlfriend likes CA cichlids but WE know cichla are cooler.

Thanks bud. I'm certain you will still be here. You've been in the cichla forum forever. I'll still check in from time to time.

Thanks bud. Good luck in the cichla game. It can be tough in the UK.

Good luck Tim. Always loved your mono videos. Now two months from now when you start looking at juvie prices you'll be begging your wife for more haha. I did the same thing and hated not having the big boys around.
I'm sure your right. I enjoy the big boys more then rare juvies too.

Good luck to ya Tim you'll be back some day make sure they go to good homes man!!! And can't wait to see your next set up your bette rhalf will let ya get the Monster tank i am sure of it ....
They will definitely go to good homes. The kelb, pinima and one of the monos just joined some guyana ocells in a 6x3x3 with a dedicated keeper. I'm gonna see if I can get him to join MFK too. The cichla hobby in the UK is picking up slowly so maybe if I sit out for a while I might be able to jump back in later and get some nice cichla . We'll see what happens.

I'm finding the snakes quite low maintenance at the moment but in the ideal world I could have a cichla tank and a few snakes. If I do make some good money breeding them that will pay for the new tank and cichla :)

Only said I was doing a dieselmack because I'm switching to herps. No one knows what will happen in the future but right now I know I want to get back in the game when I'm in a better situation to do so.

Just picked up a new boa constrictor yesterday. If I'm gonna do something I'll do it in style lol. What do you guys think of this little girl?
