Last night my nephew (he's 16) came over to watch the football game. I was telling him about the fish store I was at earlier and how awesome it was and he was begging me to take him this weekend. I said sure if you eat...

shrimp pellets
big top fin floating pellets (my fish wont even eat them)
Omega One pellets
2 big pinches of tropical flake
6 algae wafers

and I made him chew them, he gagged through most but said the shrimp pellets and Omega one pellets were not terrible. Tried to get him to eat freeze dried bloodworms but he wouldn't.

But, looking back just wanted to make sure he's not gonna die now or get sick.

A little late there. As long as the stuff wasn't lousy with mold he should be fine. Think of it as flavored corn flakes. I've eaten all of those before with no ill effect. Cats have as well with either nothing or a big fat pile of puked up algae wafers.

i used to eat goldfish flakes all the time when i was a kid, no harm done, i think....

hahahaha.
i was round my friends yest and saw her cats, they r normal sized but HUGE more like maine coons they r so fat lol hilarious. sorry for derail.

If the food is fresh and not moldy, he will be fine.

And my cats love algae wafers! If I leave them out, they will grab the bag and chew open a corner to take the wafers out. All while growling at the other cats. LOL
