wow, im glad they made seperate forums inside the forum. its difficult trying to establish catfish from ray Q's in the forum.

anyways. how big do bullhead cats get? ive seen most sources say 14-16" but recently on a fishing trip i seen bullheads about 2ft long!

these separate forums are great. it all depends on the sp. some only grow 12-15", others grow 2' or more

my lfs has a bullhead that is really friggin cool, it is almost a metalic silver and doppled black. he is only like 6 in but i dont think the owner would sell him cause he is in a turtle tank and the owner says he raised him from 1in and i dont think it is legal to sell natives here anyways. oh yeah sorry for being off topic

ive personaly caught a 23 and a hgalf inch bullhead here in maryland. Would have setsome new records but didnt realize it till i ate it

im building a huge tank, maybe ill get a couple bull heads and grow them as big as i can
