I feel stuck I can't seem to find an answer on the net so I'm turning to the power of mfk. I have had over 25 red rainbows and only have one female so far. I need more females to get the ratio right but can't seem to find them anywhere. Am I really unlucky, do I affect the outcome of the sex in some way, or do they just rarely ship females? Any help on this matter will help greatly or if anyone knows where I can get female in the UK.

Thanks in advance.

glossolepis incisus. But the problem is that the males don't show their best colour unless there are females to show off for.

just from the ones that have bred for me, at this point I have had most if not all (out of 8) male offspring. there's still one I'm not sure of. they looked female when they were younger, but they have all matured into males.
I do have another 20 but they're way to small to sex, and I hoping the LFS will take them before they're sexable.

Is it anything like temperature or ph that affects the sex? I think I will try to breed from the one female I have and hope for some but that is a long wait.
