Just sent out a money order for a F0 female Rotkeil! She should be here early next week!
I'm so excited, I've been looking for a wild female for awhile now.
Of course a new fish also means a new tank! So, I'm heading off to town to pick up a 55 gallon to put her in. After a month or so by herself in the 55 I'm going to introduce one of my males (with a divider, of course) and see if they get along. Maybe I'll have baby Rotkeils by spring!
My only problem is how to get the tank in the house. I'm not a big girl and all my neighbours are like 70, so no help there. Oh, and where to put it (thinking bedroom, nice a quit so the fish can settle in.) I'm hoping to have everything set up and running before hubby gets back from his business trip (sneaky, I know!
