Im going to Chile an Argentina

Im looking for tips on how and where to shoot. Also advice on local customs and what not to do etc. Please post here if you have any in country experience and can help me.

Hm... I bet there's some rainforrest in Argentina and Chile... So shoot the rainforrest...
And Chile has some spectacular mountains, you can visit the Inka tribe

Take the trip over to Brazil, shoot some carnivals in Rio de Janeiro and catch yourself some special catfishes in the Amazoon river. That would be a nice hike around the country that covers over half of the South America

I've seen a lot of the area , but it was over 20 years ago . The last time was Brazil and Bolivia . The company took care of everything . I'm sure an awful lot has changed since . One thing I can tell you for sure . Don't follow some dirt road into a little town , go into some cantenna , be a loud mouth , throw your money around and get drunk . A couple of my friends did and learned a valuable lesson . If you live through it you won't forget it .

Bolivia can be a harsh place I've heard, many places in Brazil to.
The people in Chile are supposed to be very kind though. I'm not sure about Argentina.
But Peru and Chile should be safe. Never been there, only heard about it.

I understand the Amazon area is going through a major drought right now with whole areas that are usually under water completely dried up .
