Ok my 125g is pretty bare. I have a 6" front. a 5" blue zebra, 3" yellow lab, And a 3" pecock. O yeah and as my wife says Mr Pleco. He is about 9"
I was thinking about some.......synodontis cats. I need a bit more color in the tank having 3 blue and one yellow. Any other good suggestions?

Well im back. I bought 50lbs of lace rock. But no fish. The wife is going to be ticked when she finds out it was 2 bucks a pound. first pic is before second is after. Im going to need to wait till next week to get some more fish. What recomendations do you suggest?

You can try a few juliedachromis species & the smaller synodontis. Maybe some mild lamprologus like cylindricus or brichardi. Nice set up you have there.

You will probably get a few responses from people regarding the Front w/Malawis.....I won't be one of them.
For Synos, try a few Petricola. Not the most colorful cats in the world, but mine are super active. You will definitely know they are there! As for additional fish, how about a male Borleyi, maybe a Fryeri. Everyone will have a different idea, I'm sure.....That is the beauty of asking the people here!

Placido Phenochilus & every woman loves this fish as the males are awesome & not aggressive. Acei, Soulosi, rustys, Yellow Top mabambas, intermedius...
Syno decorus are great. Syno agelicus also good cats. Also could throw in some Clown loaches, Yoyo loaches etc & do pretty good with the cichlids.

I like tin foil barbs. I had 2 large barbs (10 inches) in my 125, but recently gave them to a friend with a 210. I had them with my blue dolphins and they got along just fine. I like to call them garbage fish, because they seem to eat all the "garbage" (left over food and misc things; they're always hungry!!).

Clown loaches? Never thought of that. Do they hold their own pretty well? How many would be ok? I also read that pictus cats may work. Any truth to that?

try a fish u can breed thats why i got my cherry barbs
