im going to try to breed a male convict with a female parrot fish.i have the convict i just have to save up for the parrot.i would like to know how you can tell if a parrot if a male for female.

vent it, check the breeding tube, if its curved and sticks out and looks sort of uniform in thickness, then it s afemale. Male will have a point on the end of them.

should be good if he uses a female BP. males are very low fertility.

yes especially if she is still small.

maybe buy 4 grow them out the find a female and sell the rest to your lfs.
