in 2 weeks for work. I'm only flying to Dallas, which I'm told will only take like 45 minutes... Don't know how I'll react though.. I get a little anxious when I think about it... I'll even have to read up on how and what to do when going through an airport.. dorky.. but I just don't know..

Awww, that's sweet :)

Make sure you take a book to read, it will help keep your mind off things. Don't drink a lot before the flight. Jewelry, large belt buckles, cell phones, change and bottles of lotion, perfume, etc. are not security scanner friendly :)

You'll be fine...you're ]V[onster!

Don't worry it's really easy...I fly between 30-40 times a yr normally. Just pay attention when you go threw security and use common sense. No metal, wallet, sunglasses, phone wat ev. And check into your gate as soon as you get there to avoid any mix ups with a gate change. GL

I hate flying, been on a plane twice and threw up the second time. I refuse to fly, I'd much rather drive. Besides, why waste the money for a 45min flight when you could probably drive there in like 4 1/2 hours?

Your ears will suffer the most... everytimes the plant takes off!

Yawning works if you can produce one on command lol. Blowing your nose will help too. Yeah, not glamorous...but, it works :)

Additionally to what has already been mentioned, contact the airlines and see if you can carry on any luggage. My wife is doing her internship in northern wisconsin. They charged her $65 for a small carry-o bag which fit under her seat, and for one bag that went on the plane in the luggage compartment. Any other additional luggage was $100 per piece of luggage.

She was also limited to 3 ounce bottles of things like shampoo, hand lotion, body spray, and other girly frou-frou things women use. Make sure you put them in a surdy zip lock plastic bag if you put them in your suitcase and it goes into the luggage storage compartment. Bottles of lotion's, etc. have a tendency to explode and make messes inside suitcases. It happen to my wife, when she flew to wisconsin. Check with the airline office on all flight restrictions posted on their reservations website and those not posted, to make sure as what will apply to you on this flight. It'll bennefit you in the long run. Cost and time wise.

Have fun, keep a good head on your shoulders and enjoy your flight. Good luck where you're going and see you when you return.

Best Regards,
David

Thats just gross.

And why the HELL did I spell plane as plant?

SELF PWN!! :nilly:

Chewing Gum is gross? lol wut? Planes are so much fun to be on. I took a 14hr flight to japan once. Holy jet lag batman. You will be fine. 45 mins is nothing. Just bring a magazine. Well be over in no time. Oh and remember to run down the airport waving scisors with your pants down to your ankels and yelling nonsense lol. But really though. Nothing to worry about.
