I had to move my tank next to a window and its getting hard to keep up with it I scrub it every day or 2 and its a lot. Any pointers on how I can control this?

with sunlight your going to have a lot of algae, my 150 is right next to the window and i dont have much of a algae problem i just never get sunlight in my room anymore

im wondering if a pleco can take care of this problem for me. and i was also told to put a black backround to prevent sunlight from hitting the tank directly

my suggestion: bristlenose pleco

What he said, and if your fishes isn't too big, get some apple snails. They control your algae problem, without the extra amount of waste that a pleco can put out.
