I have a 120 gal. tank and i have 4 tiger oscars in in right now. they are only 2.5 to 3 inches at the most. since i have gotten my fhs i have fallin in love with them i like them better than my oscars... my fh is only in a 30 gal. right now. i know he needs a bigger home.. what should i do??? put a couple of my oscars in the 30 gal and put my fh in the 120? i dont know what to do... i would love to get another 120 or bigger tank but the wife would flip..haha what should i do????:confused:
 
YOu need to get rid of that 30 and get a 75. I had a flowerhorn in a 55 and in ways thats still to small. At the same time Oscars arent little fish, they need room too! Get to begging and get a 75!
 
you may have to give up a couple of oscars.. and then put the fh in with the other two oscars that you keep into the 120gal.. how big is the FH now...
 
Liz I have to disagree with you, don't put the FH with the oscars. It is more than likely it will kill them. Do like Musha said and get a 75 for the FH. I just put one in a 75 and it is now my favorite tank and I have 11 tanks going.

I just noticed you are the one asking questions about the pair of FH too. What did you do with the other one?

I had to take the female back to my lps.. i didnt want to chance one of them getting killed by the other.. my male fh isnt but maybe 2.5 inches right now.. i hope he turns out nice he has like a yellow tint to his face and a red belly looks pretty cool!!! not sure what kind he is if you could help that would be great but he looks cool to me!!

Red Dragon ZZ, he has great fins and tail.
