adidas_1 1.1

Adidas 1
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The correct title of this article is adidas_1. The initial letter is capitalized and an _ is substituted or omitted due to MediaWiki's technical restrictions. The adidas_1 is a sneaker (more accurately, running shoe) made by adidas, introduced in early 2005. Its notability derives from being the first general consumer sneaker to incorporate a computer.

Technology
Three years in the making, the shoe adjusts itself after each stride, using a motor in the middle of the sole. The motor turns a screw, which in turn lengthens or shortens a cable, changing the compression characteristics of the heel pad.
The changes are guided by a sensor in the heel, which determines how much the heel is compressed on each stride.

The shoe is battery-powered, and lasts for 100 hours of running.
As of 25 November the World's First Intelligent Shoe Just Got Smarter
The higher intelligence level 1.1 makes the adidas_1 better, stronger and faster. There is an increased range of cushioning, meaning the shoe can become even softer or firmer and a new motor with 153 percent more torque.

i was thinkin bout getting those too but $250 was kinda steep for adidas

i watched a show on the designing of those a lot of computer tech there and i wonder if i can get them in a low rider version motors in the front as well with a remote control :)
