Hey just wondering what prices I should expect to pay for a
centralian carpet
irian jaya carpet
jungle carpet
this will be my first reptile but my mum and dad kept a Burmese, royal/ball and a reticulated aswell as an boa constrictor and a brazillian rainbow boa(but the constrictor killed the rainbow, suprisingly the only fatality they had keeping them all together for 2 years!) and I was just wondering how big each carpet will get and prices I may be stopping by strictly exotics and aquatics and I was informed about a breeding pair of carpets but no specifics and I will be enquiring as to which species it is aswell as what they can get in.

Can't help you with prices.

If they are pure bred animals the centralians will get to 8 foot plus whereas most jungles only grow to about the 6 foot range although I have seen much bigger specimens online in the US. Not sure on the irian jayans but I think they are similar to our North-western (aka Darwin) pythons and get to about the 8 foot range again. All should make good first pythons especially given that your folks have experience.

Post some pics if you get some.

Strictly exotics has ball pythons for £50, jungle carpets pure bred £217 so I can't see me getting a jungle for that price but they are top notch about a foot and already brilliantly coloured so I'm now looking at the irian jayas, centralians and anything else interesting

Depends on quality, age and who you're buying from. Just check out classifieds like reptileclassifieds.co.uk and specialist webistes and you should find something. Jungles maybe around 200 (very variable because of quality), bredls maybe 350, coastals about 100. All the cool keepers are keeping diamonds though lol.

edit: wow after having a look bredls have come down in price loads recently it looks like. Can even get gentic striped hets for 200.
