I want to buy one for 15$ or less and any size under 6inchs

I'm not sure, but I think when I go fishing I catch them or their close cousins locally called oyster crackers... of the NJ shore. Other than that, I'd like one myself. Let me know if you have success and if I see one in a local store, I'll let you know.

could u post pic

Hi,
Real cool fish how ever they do nothing just sit in their cave or hiding spot and wait for a feeder to swim into range. They just open their large mouth and the feeder is sucked in. Need to see it to believe it. That being said set your tank up so the cave or hiding spot is near the main viewing side of the tank so you can see the fish.
If he chooses a spot where you can't see him rearange.
My toad fish is in a 20 long with a common pleco and a spotted puffer.
substraight is coral
water is brach
I do have drift wood in the tank as well.
In the Boston area they go for $30 for a 6 incher

God luck

Hi,

the Pleco is doing fine. I have had him in the tank for over 1 year. He even survived my heater getting stuck on and the temp was almost 100. The toadfish and puffer cooked. I have since replaced the heater and the toadfish and puffer. I use half a table spoon of salt per gallon and have started adding alittle more with my by monthly water changes.

the LFS i go to had some a while back ago. they were like between 25-35.. dont remember the pricing

I heard they are hell poisionous? Toxins in dorsal like a lionfish.
I believe I caught one on a boat before..The mate looked like he was handling unstable dynamite. He was very carefull as to how he handled it.
