hi every body, im looking to but a mean fish to house in a 75 gallon tank either male or female or both to breed. im am interested in two fish! red devil, mida's , can you tell me which is best overall and which is the meanest and how fast to they grow and if they can be with other cichlid's
thank you for your time and all the help, i know its alot of quesions but i know i can relie on every body here!!!!

i would go with a mida's cichlid becousei think there better looking but then again i have not seen a real nice lookin devil

Grammodes, these guys are just like a Dovii only smaller.
you could have a Jaguar, or another parachromis,
amphilophus species like Midas and red devil
you could even have a Flowerhorn if thats what you like.
for a single aggresive cichlid in a 75gallon tank you have alot of Options

All good choices. I personally like MIdas' better than Red Devils. I've always wanted a Grammodes too, also a cool fish. It's up to you man, research and see what you like. I've housed a flowerhorn in a 75 gallon before and it was a lot of fun to watch. Good luck, and keep us posted.

midas. they get big koks and do not get as big as a RD. midas should only get about 12" tops and would be managable in a 75 gallon tank. though if you are wanting to breed you may have to set up a divider or atleast keep one on hand as both midas and RD's get very aggressive when breeding.

Midas and red devils are both nice, you have lots of options though.

Midas
Red devil
Trimac
Texas
Flowerhorn
Freddy
Green terror
and many more

If you want something red/orange go with midas or red devil. They have similiar attitudes. If you want something green/blue I would recommend texas Escondido's. If you want something a little more unique I would recommend a Trimac.
