I am going to move out of my place pretty soon. How am I going to move my fishes with me? I don't want to put them with a un-cycled water. I need some ideas on how would I do this..

Thanks.

you need to put them in a bucket with the water you have in the tank. keep some of the water in another container . then just put a little new water in there like a water change

Your right, but if he has 125+ tank its not going to be easy to keep enough of the original water in the move to make it much less than a 100% water change. 10% of that would be 12.5 gallons (100lbs). Thats alot to move. Maybe fill the tank slowly over a few days?

Hey gerard, I have an excellent plan. Why dont you let me have all of your dats? LOL j/k. I think the best way is to keep the water in the biggest cooler you could find or find the 5 gal containers that are used to hold fresh drinking water. You do not have to take all the water just enough so that you can mix the old with the new. It should not affect your fishes at all.
