I'm new. Please id my FHs

Hi my name is Jeanette and I'm new here. Please help me id my babies. I purchased fish 1 - fish 4 about a month ago. My uncle raisef fish5 from fry but gave the fish to me because the kok is too small. Although I have fish5 for only a week, I thinks his kok is bigger. Is that possible? I do put him a larger tank and give him plenty of food. My uncle said I'm seeing thing. According to him, this type of kok doesn't get any larger/bigger. I was told fish4 is super/supreme red is that right? Also, what can I do to bring out the kok and the colors? They are extreme active...eat like pigs especially fish 1 and fish3. Thank you so much.

They're all beautiful fish. I don't know what 'kind' each is though. I don't think there's any way to predict how they'll grow. It depends too much on diet and water changes.

Thank you. I used to live in the states but relocated to vietnam because of my job. I have 2 arowanas (1 super red and 1 xb) and just getting into fh. My xb is about 2 years old and my red is 7 months old. The lfs said fish 4 is a super/supreme red and i'm curious if this is true? Thanks again.

Hi Jeanette, great collection of FH. You can probably get a better answer from some experts here... but, I'll take a stab at your questions =). I would call the 4th a JK or a fader. The 5th fish has what is called a hard/forward kok. It can get bigger but not by much. I believe kok size is based on genetic. Nutrition can help somewhat for the kok size, but if the fish doesn't have the correct gen, almost nothing will help. On the other hand, you must take care of a fish with good gen inorder for it to flurish; Which means water, temp, tank size, food, etc can come in play. I believe your 1st 3 fh have the best potentials. I love them. My 2cents....

I believe all of them are zz malaus except the JK. fish1, fish2, and fish3 has potential in my eyes. Due to all the mix breeding and what not, you cant really classify there status on the mp scale. I wish my uncle was a fh breeder

Your fish are mainly Zhen Zhus with the 4th one being a fader. The first and third flowerhorns are Zhen Zhu red dragons.. They are very nice.. faders like JK usually have smaller and harder KOKs...
