i no almost nothing about fish tank set up.. i have a 120 gallon tank with a 110 gallon filter and a 45 gallon filter.

i filled it with water early yesterday..

I dont know What i need to put in it how long i have to wait before getting fish etc.. can anyone help me out..?

you can add some "sludge" from someone elses filter, some food, ammonia, or hardy fish like danios or feeders to start the cycle.

During the cycle you'll notice the amonia go up, then the nitrites go up, then they'll fall, then the nitrates will start to rise. Once your nitrites and amonia are 0 and your nitrates are rising, you're cycled.
obviously you're going to need a test kit:) Test the water every couple of days. You might even want to search this site for "cycling the tank" or something along those lines.....there is a TON of info about it here.
