Hello, everyone. My name is Tina. I live in the cold, cold state of Wisconsin. I have had a Heros Bifaciatus (pardon the spelling) for the last 11 years. He is one of my favorite fishes. His name is Fido. I will post a photo of him as soon as I am able. He's approximately 14 inches in length. Quite aggressive. Absolutely beautiful. I'm trying to locate photos of other specimens to compare him to. Does anyone know of any that may be available for viewing? I would greatly appreciate any input on this. thanks.

Instead of searching under the (quite) old scientific name Heros, try Paratheraps or Vieja bifasciatus instead.

google an image search for Vieja bifasciatus, will bring up plenty of images.
