I'm on a Mission for a Double Digit LMB

I've recently had a little more time to get back into fishing and I've been addicted again for the last month or so.

I'm searching my local lakes for a 10 lb+ largemouth. I'm hoping to find it and mount one on my wall

This bluegill or red ear or whatever it is ate my crawdad that was meant for bass. 12 inches, new personal best

Local lakes limit is minimum 15", the smaller one is 15". So I've been doing good, but these ain't double digits. I'm just waiting for next winter, pre and post spawn again when they are fatter

I would tell u how but u would kill the bass(I don't like that as large size is a gene linked trait in lmb)

Bass wont grow to 10+lbs if you keep them all

You know there places that make exact replicas of your fish. Give them a picture measure the length, girth, and weight. You'll still have your trophy but the real one lives another day. I've taught my kids when they catch big fish to respect them because they didn't get that big from being stupid.
