im afraid the aro will be spooked and freak out.... silver aro about 10inch rtc 7inch.. do u think this to will do just fine..

Should be fine...just make sure your RTC can't fit your aro in its mouth. Or be careful when your RTC outgrows the aro and is able to fit the aro in its mouth.
I'm pretty sure one day you will find a very fat red tail cat alone in your tank. Maybe it will work, but I don't think the odds are in your favor. Good luck if you go for it.
i just did move my rtc with the aro... well i guess there getting along very well.. but i can see the aro is a bit scared everytime they meet at the center the aro move and stay on the top of the tank... ill post pix soon with the 2 together..tnx for the replies...
