In the water
I completely redid my 55 after people told me I was way over stocked. My plain was to have 1 EBJD, 1 pike cichlid, 1 bichir, and two pictus. So I bought a bichir a put it in a breeding net for like 2 days before I got rid of my tsn and gar but it couldn't wait that long and jumped out and got eaten. $11.00 down the drain. After I got rid of the big fish I put in a EBJD and a Pike($6.00). They were doing good until my EBJD got sick and died($22.00). Then I put in a geo earth eater and another bichir. I found out a few days later that my geo($6.00)didn't get 4" like the lady at the fish store told me it got 12". Then I bought a Texas($8.00) and it's the worst fishIng ever and I've seen it like twice. And today when I came home from fish my bichir was lying dead on bottom with it's belly slit open like someone had cut it with a knife($13.00). I also have 2 pictus cat($12.00). On top of all of this my 2 amazon swords that were doing great are now dying they were like 6 bucks each. My point is that my tank sucks right now and I have no money let to spend on it and I don't know what to do with it. I also have a snowflake eel
that was 20 dollers that the lady at the fish store told me was a freshwater fish but come to find out it's salt water and I can't get rid of it but it's doing fine of corse. The only fish in my are a pike witch is very non active and two pictus that never move unless i'm feeding them. I don't know what to do with my tank anymore I want something that is active, colorful, and will eat live gold fish that will never get to big for my tank. Sorry about ranting but I'm not having very good luck with my tank right now.

so ur fish just started dying. check ur water. snowflake eels are brackish water eels but can live in salt water tanks.

No my waters fine my EBJD got a paresit like a month ago and idk what happen to my bichir. My water is perfict I've already checked it.

I'm sorry for all your losses but you really need to research fish before your buy, to avoid fishing getting killed and you upset because they're not active enough. By doing some research you know what your buying before bringing them home.
You always have to be cautious when buying from LFS. Think about whats their number one goal...to sell fish, when a customer comes in and doesnt really know about a particular fish...of course they are gonna sell the crap out of something... Why do you RTC's in 10gal... because somebody didnt do their research...
before making your next purchase go into the lfs knowing what you want to but, hope this helps

DONT feed live goldfish to your fish! they can cause HITH and bring in parasites! ( hith is hole in the head and is hard to cure, im dealing with it right now, but mine is bad water quility ) but how long has teh tank been running? could be cycleing again?

The eel was my bad I got it a while ago and I looked at EBJD pike and bichir for a month before I got them. I did a little on the Texas but I didn't know it would be so shy. The geo was impulse. I need some
ideas for fish I don't
know what I'm going to do with my tank anymore

You should go with african cichlids. Active, colorful and very fun to watch.
