Well I went to the lfs and purchase 2 tin foil barbs to stock my tank. Thier is only one inhabitant which is my Motoro Stingray, will thier be any problems between them?

Depends on what size everybody is...

If it can fit in the rays mouth, the fish are gone!

The barbs are bigger then the rays mouth, but a lot of people say they keep tin foil barbs with thier rays for there calm nature. Well it's been a night so far and no eyes are missing from my ray and his disc is in good conddition.

I have a 5.5" Silver dollar in with my 13" and 11" motoros. We call him Chewy because he is always messed up from being chewed on but he is too big for them to fully fit in their mouths. Right now he has a suck mark on his side where my small female pinned him.

i know ppl who have no problem with tin foil barbs with there rays.

just dont go crazy and get a huge group as they will eat all the food so you will have to feed more and then this will fook up your water.

keep your eye on them and if they show any sighn at all of taking intrest in the rays get shot of them.

Well it looks so far that there doing ok, I don't see any agression between them and the two barbs are always together usually on the oppisite side of the tank of the ray unless I p[lace food in the tank. I use forceps for my ray.

i now have 6 x 7 inch tinfoil barbs in with my 14 inch disk p14 with no problems

the tin foils eat a lot so i just feed more

i think tinfoils are a good mid water fish for a ray tank so far they have been in the tank for about 4 months no problems
