Hey y'all. I'm new to this forum and pretty new in this hobby. I have always found fish so interesting but never really got into keeping them as pets. One of my friends has these multi shell dwellers and I could not believe they have fish that live in shells! So I decided to start reading up in forums and different sites to decide what I wanted to do. Luckly i have one of the biggest tropical fresh water fish stores (livefishdirect.com)a few miles from my house so I went and decided on keeping malawi lake fish. I then bought my first tank. A 40 breeder. I stocked it with a few starter fish for cycling. I have electric yellows and kenyi in there now. I have recently started a 29 gal for cycling. I haven't decided what I'm gonna keep in there but I've gotta figure out soon cuz my cycling ends saturday. Any ideas? I may just give my kenyi the 29 for breeding and make the 40 a community tank. Any ideas would be awesome!!!

Welcome to MFK. As far as stocking goes for your tank once its done cycling, I'm not sure...most african cichlids will outgrow both those tanks just an FYI, maybe just check out what they got at livefishdirect's store and see what they suggest?
