I been arguing with some stupid asses in a fishforum here in Norway.
They have a fishbase that's full of crap :swear:

They claim that a Aro is not suitable for home aquariums, and they say that the Aro minimum
need a tank of 4 meters - thats 13,12 feet :screwy:
They also say that the tank must be min. 5000 liters - 1321 gallons...

I have told them thats bull****, but they refuse to change the info in their fishbase.

What do you guys think?

Dude, these are what we call fish snobs. They are people who think that anything that they don't care for is stupid or impractical. They think you should have bought a Mercedes Benz even though you could only afford a Honda Accord. Thats why I came here.

Why let it bother you? Is it really worth it? Some people also think that a 55g is enough to keep an aro for life. Does this make them correct? HELL NO.
Everyone has a diffrent way of looking at things. So IMO there is no reason to get all nuts.
Just say "I know better" and move on.:D

That's why I picked this site. I lurked on a bunch of other forums but didn't like a lot of the attitudes, so I decided to become active on this site.

But yeah, I don't think an aro needs that long of a tank, and definately not that many gallons.

not right about 13' as a minimum. :screwy:

how many of us have the luxury to get such a big tank? anyway or aros are doing fine in our current tank.

It isn't the minimum, but I wouldn't mind having a tank that big for my aros... hehe 13' that would rock!

asian arows wont really get over 3 foot
