I have a beautiful male betta with very pretty colouration and i got him from a very good lfs and I'd like to breed him. I've had him for almost a year now though and when I got him he was matured so I'm worried that he might be to old to breed? I read that younger bettas are better for breeding but I love this betta and I have my heart set on breeding him and keeping his line going because he really is a great fish.
If someone could give me advice that'd be great, I've never bred any of my fish before but I'd really like to.
