I'm thinking of getting a Black Arowana

I have a 5' wide x 2' wide x 3' tall tank. Would I be able to house the arowana in there comfortably for life? Fishbase lists the max size as 100cm (a little over 3' long). Thanks!

It will be fine for a long time in that tank. For an adult, however, the tank should be 6+ feet long and at least 2.5-3 feet wide.

I've seen Aro's in stores in the tank dimension you mentioned.... they look cramped, and are usually just for display until someone purchases them.
