hello, im very much new to the fish world but ive always liked fish.
the reason why i deside to get some fish it b/c i went to a barbaqu with a friend and they had a very long tank. and a pacu (you can buy them at walmart) and the fish was hugh lol. and he had a gar. and a peacock bass.

the tank was very clean and clear and had a nice set up.

i have a 30 gallon that is going to be a freash water. and i want some fish to take care of, but i dont know what to get. i like playcos alot. so i might some of them.

if any one has any good ideas for a noobie fish message me or reply

also were would i find the information on what and what not to put into my tanks, and which filter setup is best for the fish i would get?
 
becareful the pleco you get as some of them get very very big. the commons get over a foot long
 
yes i know ive seen them get very big, like i said i like them but im not sure if i would get any really i dont know what i want. thats why im asking everyone.

if you have any sujestion please let me know. i would like something small at first and i would like for it to go but not to big maybe colorful. i dont like gold fish i kept a picktas cat fish for like 2 years and every time i get a gold fish it dies everytime.

Welcome to MFK. Please remember to research before you purchase your fish. And i would not suggest buying fish from walmart. And do not believe the advice they give you.

Welcome.

Plecos are a great fish to keep. They are a big dirtier than other fish, but it isn't that difficult to manage with proper care.
