Together? how the tank needs to be setup?

definitely your tank should be long wide and tall...in short should be BIG

8'x3.5'x3' would be ideal for some rays and a arow or two, But it also depend on what ray and arow your getting. Pellets, shrimp, worm, chop tilapia, mussels, etc.....raw of course.

You need 8 foot long 3 foot wide and 2-3 foot tall for the fish to be "happy" as you put it.

Keep researching, ask lots of questions in the ray forum also. Here in Colorado, mainly Denver area, silver and jardini arowana are pretty easy to find. Leis, blacks and african aro are harder to find and costly. You can also find them online depending on the season.

Asian aros are illegal here in the states.

For aros there are some good places to get them in Denver. If you are planning on getting rays, I'd suggest you get a bigger aro as rays produce a lot of waste and smaller aros are very sensitive to poor water quality.

Todd's tropical fish gets rays in all the time, but the denver tropical fish warehouse can get some even more rare ones in.

Fish Palace has (I don't know if they still do) a large silver aro for $100.

It really depends on what you are looking for. I'd heed Bdericks advice and do some more research as these fish are an investment and if your up for it, they are tons of fun.

Good luck!

Maybe you could make an attempt at saving this poor silver:(

Up for sale is my Arowana. This rare fish is a great addition to any room. I bought this fish when it was just under 5 inches. It has grown to just over 13 inches (exact measurement is a little tricky!). I am selling this fish because we are trying to free up some space. The 29 Gallon fish tank comes with a lighted hood, filter, heater, and stand. On the bottom of the stand sits a 5 gallon fish tank for feeders. I found out that keeping the feeders alive longer was a lot easier with keeping them in an extra tank. The 5 gallon tank comes with a lighted hood and filter. No need for a heater for goldfish or rosies! Both tanks has had the gravel removed to clean and keep in mind that someone else might have other ideas for the tanks. I also have a bunch of cleaning supplies for the fish tanks and chemicals that I will include with this sale. I also have a half container of goldfish food - the first half lasted about 7 months so far. If you have any further questions please feel free! I am asking $250 for this whole setup. I will NOT deliver, so you must be able to transport the fish and tanks at the same time. Thanks for looking, and as always: NO SCAMMERS or LOW BALLERS!!
